World’s first L&D programmes on digital insurance, now grant-supported in Singapore & Hong Kong
In early 2020 The Digital Insurer (TDI) launched TDI Academy – the world’s first comprehensive global Learning & Development programme on Digital insurance.
Designed to help accelerate digital insurance engagement “from the few to the many”, and thereby underpin insurers’ digital transformation efforts, the curriculum is made up of 56 one-hour lessons covering all of the key topics on how technology is transforming the insurance industry. The programme is available on a 100% virtual basis – either self-paced, or with live virtual discussion sessions as part of a unique virtual “mini-MBA” on digital insurance.
Progressive governments are recognising the importance of directly helping the transformation of the insurance industry through the availability of grants and subsidies. In Singapore, grants are now available for TDI’s on-demand programmes that can be up to 120% of the fee paid – so insurers get paid to take the programme. It doesn’t get better than that.
The Singapore grant programme is managed by the IBF (Institute of Banking & Finance) and TDI’s Programmes are part of the Financial Training Scheme (FTS) which accesses a Grant Fund or more than US$60 million – details here.
In Hong Kong our virtual ‘mini-mba’ can access a grant equal to 2/3rd of the fee. The Hong Kong programme is managed by the Reindustrialisation Technology & Training Programme (RTTP) and more details can be found here.
In addition, in order to further help accelerate digital engagement “from the few to the many”, and to take cost off the table around the world, TDI has launched TDI PRIME – a member programme that allows companies and organisations to offer sample lessons and create an “engagement map” that can be used to identify priority topics and individuals for further investment on L&D.
TDI has also invested in the capabilities to bring a blended learning experience to all its programmes – recognising that on-demand only programmes are not for everyone and completion rates and outcomes are much higher when there is live engagement and support – as well as customisation options to meet organisation-specific needs.
All of this adds up to unprecedented quality and flexibility across a unique set of programmes on digital insurance, that can be deployed cost-effectively around the world.
Insurers can now make digital insurance available to all, accelerating their journey towards a truly customer-centric, digitally-enabled culture.
