Digital Insurance in Africa – a continent full of opportunity
It was a pleasure to be part of the first digital insurance conference in Africa held  from 5-7th August in Johannesburg.
I was impressed at the relatively advanced state of digital innovation in South Africa and the enormous potential for insurance in Africa as a whole. More and more countries in Africa are reaching the point at which purchase of individual insurance will start to accelerate.
A short commentary on some of the presentations and links to slideshare for the actual presentation is provided below. As usual though much of the value was the opportunity to meet people who are passionate about digital insurance and looking to make changes in their own organisations.
I am looking forward to the opportunity to return to Africa soon. You may also like this article I wrote ahead of my trip – read the article.
