When it comes to digital transformation, several paths lead to success

What is digital business transformation? What are the four pathways to ‘future ready’? This short presentation from Dr. Peter Weill, senior research scientist at MIT, attempts to answer both questions.

As to the first, What is digital business transformation?

As to the second, What are the four pathways to making it happen?

The four lines are the transformational pathways, and the ‘explosions’ are decision rights and ‘organizational surgery.’

All pathways pay off, according to Dr. Weill, with average margins 66% higher and growth 84% higher comparing firms above and below 50% complete on transformation.
