About the Role:
- You establish new connections to non-insurance partners and set-up new partnerships with insurtechs.
- You work closely with the product innovation and digital solutions specialists to develop the proposition across the value chain to benefit the partners and our clients.
- You lead the build of insurtech solutions and the validation processes transforming selected initial use cases into ready to market robust solutions – leading solution design, contextualization and building business case.
- You manage the day to day interaction with various internal stakeholders, third party insurtech solutions providers and insurance clients.
- You are responsible to track the delivery and monetization of initial insurtech pilots across Swiss Re Asia Pacific markets.
- You develop and implement new ideas with a focus on new and innovative insurance solutions in Asia Pacific markets.
- You help to craft our solutions, digital and innovation strategy.
About You:
- You have significant digital ecosystem experience in Asia, across internal and external value chains.
- You have an in-depth understanding of the digital and data landscapes with specific focus on the financial services space and experience in disrupting legacy business models.
- You are able to position Swiss Re as an innovator in the digital space and the related opportunities in each market of Asia Pacific, in the context of product distribution and value chain opportunities, against a backdrop of regulatory and social constraints.
- You have strong understanding of change driven by technology, particularly in an industry with limited reputation for change and agility.
- You have worked for an insurance company for a minimum of 8 years in Asia preferably in the area of distribution, product development, underwriting, claims.
- You have experience in innovation, product development, tariff design, go-to-market strategies, primary insurance consulting, etc.
- You know the primary value chain and know how to technically implement solutions and products (end-to-end).
- You have successfully launched new products in the Asia market.
- Your English is excellent and any additional Asian language is a plus.
- You are flexible to travel extensively, primarily in the Asia Pacific region.
