Union Assurance (UA) recently launched a programme to empower its sales staff with laptop devices in an effort to strengthen its distribution efficiency. The company aims to distribute laptops to its complete sales force in the future. Through this initiative, Union Assurance wants to improve communications between insurance advisors in the field, customers and the organisation. By empowering the sales force in the field, the company also hopes to reinforce its promise of customer-centric and transparent insurance solutions.
“The laptops allow secure access to the Union Assurance intranet while allowing our advisors to superior, speedy services with greater transparency. Online customer relationship management systems and email will also keep the sales force up-to-date with technologically advanced servicing possibilities,” said Mr.Niyas, Assistant General Manager – Sales Force Administration & Planning.
The Union Assurance field force can now also harness the full potential of the Digital Advisor Toolkit (DAT), a tri-lingual application compatible for both laptops and tablet phones developed by Union Assurance to propose different insurance solutions and covers to their valued customers. Now, advisors can also email the PDF version of the quotation to the customer with all required information, which includes the plan details, illustrations, Financial Need Analysis (FNA) and the quotation.
