Heiniubao – Automatically adjusts premium contributions

[ff_author_box_style2]

In Action Summary

Heiniubao is a Chinese participating life insurance App that pools members premiums before automatically adjusts premium contributions to optimise the ROI for users who allow Heiniubao to make adjustments to their monthly premium contributions. Based in Hangzhou China, the Heiniubao team are enriching the Chinese life insurance industry by augmenting traditional savings orientated products with a group investment platform that includes

How it Works?

  • Each member joins Heiniubao and completes a question set regarding income, employment history and marital status.
  • Members then make a contribution to a shared investment group (group is assigned by answers to financial status question set).
  • Heiniubao uses financial data to increase or decrease monthly contributions to a participating life insurance fund with adjustments dependent on current exchange rates and macro economic conditions.

Heiniubao is challenging the status quo in Chinese life insurance industry which is currently dominated by simple single period savings products

Heiniubao will soon expand its life insurance offering to term life and health insurance products. Additionally, Heiniubao is planning to integrate its new WeChat mini App with several Chinese life insurers to enable users to submit claims and manage policies.
