Chubb is partnering with a San-Francisco based cyber risk analytics vendor called CyberCube to boost its Cyber Risk Underwriting.
CyberCube’s Analytics Software will supplement Chubb’s ability to quantify and understand systemic risks across commercial cyber portfolio.
CyberCube Analytics also works closely with Symantec (a cyber security company) to access data, expertise and threat intelligence. Symantec contributes its technological assets, developed in collaboration with insurers. The partnership enables CyberCube to benefit from Symantec Cyber Security Services (CSS), Security Technology and Response (STAR) division and Symantec’s Incident Response Services.
Pascal Millaire, CEO of CyberCube has said of this partnership: “Cyber is one of the most complex risks facing insurers in the 21st century. Data-driven tools can be extremely valuable when it comes to managing cyber aggregation. We are pleased to support Chubb, a recognised leader in the cyber insurance space, by providing them with additional insights into the systematic risks and other cyber-related exposures within their cyber portfolio.”
