Zurich Insurance and Applied Systems have entered into a technology-based motor insurance distribution partnership which will allow Zurich to connect its Insurer Hosted Pricing platform to the Applied Rating Fulfilment Services for distribution via Applied Epic and Applied TAM.

Applied Systems is a global provider of cloud-based software for the insurance industry. Its Applied Rating Fulfilment Services data exchange platform helps in connecting insurers to a broker’s back-office system, enabling rating automation and easy policy fulfilment processes for both insurers and brokers. The pricing will be handled by Zurich while Applied Systems will take care of the connectivity, quoting and data exchange between Zurich, brokers and policyholders.
The deal allows easy transactions for brokers and with Applied Systems Ratings expertise the insurer is capable of providing competitive quotes to the brokers, along with point of quote validation to enable quicker decision-making and smoother on-boarding for new customers.
