Keep Warranty is a B2B2C solution tackling the issue of lost warranties and
purchase slips by storing them in one secure location and making it
accessible at all times via the app to its end users. As part of its multi-services
platform Keep Warranty is working with banks, insurance companies and
retailers to assist them in reinventing the products they create to meet the
evolving needs of customers who are now wired to expect speed and
innovation from all service providers.
Keep Warranty B.V is a self-funded spinoff startup of the company Icontrends
Lda and it was created in February 2019. The app itself was launched in the
end of October 2017 and market validation came from its user base, which
quickly reached 60K users, who on average upload 8 warranties, visit the app
once a week and spend 2,3 minutes in each app visit.
This growth has been totally organic, leveraged by great media coverage
earned due to the user’s acknowledgement that it is a great solution for an
everyday problem that they have - the app has been reviewed in multiple
news outlets and it has recently been featured in a popular portuguese tv
show, "Contas Poupança", as the best app to help consumers in managing
their warranties, which reached a record audience of 1,4M viewers. Media
coverage also comes from the recognition the solution achieved in the fintech
space in little over a year, with its founder being elected Startup Founder of
The Year in Portugal by the Portuguese Women in Tech Association in 2018;
the selection for the acceleration programme Startupbootcamp 2019’ FinTech
& CyberSecurity Amsterdam, after a grueling process that involved more than
500 startups and ended with the best 11; the selection to pitch at the Ebaday
Fintech Zone event, alongside 15 of the most cutting-edge startups in Europe
and the nomination for The Europas Awards 2019.
As 70% of the data uploaded by users is related with Home Appliances and
Consumer Electronics, Keep Warranty is exploring partnerships with service
providers that need to reinvent their businesses within the scope of a multiservices
platform geared at facilitating, simultaneously, the life of the user and
the creation of new products to improve overall customer experience and
engagement, reduce customer service costs and generate new business
opportunities.
