ANNOUNCING OUR LATEST SPONSOR, KPMG
We are delighted to announce that we have recently agreed a sponsorship agreement with KPMG, one of the largest professional services companies globally. Our goal has always been to have one global consulting firm as a sponsor for The Digital Insurer with whom we can partner and create mutual synergies. With KPMG’s credibility, expertise, knowledge and scale in the insurance space, we will be able to provide you, our subscribers, with even more of the latest content and news in the world of digital insurance.
KPMG’s official sponsorship will begin in mid-July but we wanted to share this exciting news with you in advance and let you know what we have planned.
KPMG will be sponsoring a brand new content section in The Digital Insurer called ‘Digital Insurance in Action’ (DIA). This new section, which will launch in July, will showcase real examples of digital innovations from insurance companies and insurance technology companies from around the world.
We believe that this resource will be very useful for anyone looking to gain insights into digital initiatives taking place in Asia and around the world. When we started The Digital Insurer in 2012, there was still a lot of theoretical talk about what it meant for insurers to become digital. Over the last year or so, probably the biggest shift we have noticed is how insurers are now becoming increasingly focused on turning the theory into practice. There are now so many excellent examples of insurers’ digital initiatives, and the new DIA section will bring them all together in one place.
The work that KPMG does with insurers, combined with The Digital Insurer’s content publishing platform, means we will be well placed to bring you the latest examples of digital insurance in action, straight to your inbox.
“The Digital Insurer provides high-quality content for free to professionals interested in how digital thinking and technology can, and is, transforming the insurance industry. KPMG’s sponsorship allows us to now expand our services further and commence reporting on the ‘action’ in the emerging world of digital insurance. Whilst our commentary remains rooted in Asia Pacific, we believe the site will become the global reference site for digital insurance around the world over the next 12-18 months.”
“We are excited about this opportunity to help further raise awareness of the opportunities and benefits that digital technologies and innovation can bring to our industry. With the ability to leverage and monetise big data now widely available, the digital revolution is here to stay. Insurance is becoming increasingly relevant in our daily lives through developments such as mobile, telematics, and wearable devices, and both China and the wider Asia region will likely become even more of a hotbed of innovation in the months and years ahead. When you combine this trend with the sheer scale of opportunity which the regional markets present, it’s an exciting time for insurers, particularly in Asia. Some are going to need to up their game – and fast. We hope that the development of ‘Digital Insurance in Action’, in partnership with The Digital Insurer, will provide invaluable and stimulating insight to those insurers looking to learn from what’s going on in the industry, as they reflect on and further strengthen their own digital insurance plans.”
The Digital Insurer will continue to maintain independent coverage and commentary on all reports on digital insurance and related topics in its existing Digital Insurance Library service.
We will be communicating more about the DIA and KPMG’s sponsorship over the coming weeks. Watch this space for more information.
